Spreading Jesus' Love in Pakistan: A Journey of Faith and Freedom

Today, October 10, 2024, I had the incredible privilege of once again preaching the love of Jesus to people in a remote area of Pakistan. As I reflect on this moment, I'm filled with awe at the amazing work God has been doing through our Bible study group over the past several months. I want to share with you the story of our journey - a testament to faith, perseverance, and the transformative power of God's love.

The Beginning of a Spiritual Breakthrough

Our journey began on April 11, 2024. That was the day I first had the honor to preach the love of Jesus in a remote area of Pakistan. It was also when our Bible study group started an initiative that would change many lives - raising funds to free families from bondage labor in brick kilns.

At that time, I couldn't have imagined the impact we would have. We set out with the goal of helping free multiple families, including children, from slavery. The stories we heard were heart-wrenching - little ones making bricks in oppressive heat, families trapped in generational bondage. We knew we had to act.

Just a day after our initial outreach, we witnessed an incredible spiritual breakthrough. In a very remote region of Pakistan, in the middle of the desert, 245 people made the decision to follow Jesus! It was a powerful testament to God's work in this region. We immediately set up a team to follow up, teaching and discipling these new believers.

Families Finding Freedom

As our efforts continued, we began to see the fruits of our labor. By September 30, I received an update that filled my heart with joy. The families we had helped were thriving in their newfound freedom:

- One family was saving money to build a small home

- Another was saving to open a shop

- One family had already started growing and selling vegetables

- Another family was saving money for their son's marriage

These families had moved to new homes, found new jobs, and were living healthier lives. It was amazing to see their transformation from darkness into the light of freedom.

And God didn't stop there— my Bible study group prayed for one of the slave owners to come to know Jesus. Within the month, his heart softened, and he accepted Jesus. Because of this, He let the slaves he owned free!

I don't know why we were shocked it happened so fast. God moved quickly. Praise God. He's still in the business of setting the captives free.

In just the last two weeks, our Bible study group has raised almost $3,000 to pay for the freedom of more families working in bondage labor brick kilns. I'm so proud of these ladies and their unwavering dedication to this cause.

Today, as I preached in Pakistan, I was reminded of how far we've come and how much further we can go. We've helped free multiple families, including children and even toddlers, from slavery. But our work is far from over.

Looking Ahead

As we continue this mission, I ask for your support:

1. Pray for the people still in bondage labor in Pakistan

2. Consider donating to help free more families. Please feel free to message me if you would like to join our effort!

3. Spread awareness about modern-day slavery and the power of faith to bring change

Thank you all for your support and prayers over these months. Together, we're making a difference and spreading Jesus' love in Pakistan!
